Ours Forever! Logan was sealed and blessed

Forever Family!

Logan was sealed and blessed on Saturday October 25, 2014.  Probably one of the best day of our lives.  Both Drew and Logan were perfect angels for the sealing and the pictures afterwards.  We feel so blessed to have Logan a part of our family.  We will forever be grateful for the decision that Shawntae made to pick us to adopt Logan.

7 months old!

7 months old!

Logan is 7 months old! He had a Dr appointment and weighed in at 17 lbs 7 oz (30 %) and 28 inches (75%), so he is a tall, thin, super cute baby.  In the past month he has all of the sudden changed and is moving and squirming all the time.  He is sitting up a lot and will be officially crawling any day now (he is army crawling everywhere). He loves to give big long slobbery kisses to us daily, it is super cute. He has 2 teeth and is constantly drooling, so I am sure there are more to come.  We have had fun enjoying the autumn time  with him.

6 months and legal!

 Sorry for the late post again, life has been busy and great! Logan turned 6 months old in September, he is getting so big and starting to reach and grab at everything (including the teddy bear we take pictures with).  Three days after he turned 6 months old we were able to go before a judge and make him a legal member of our family!!! It was such an emotional day.  Both Ted and I had tears of joy in that court room, and we felt such gratitude for this little miracle in our lives. A day doesn't go by that we aren't thankful for the amazing gift Shawntae gave us!

Logan is starting to squirm and move a lot, I think he is going to be a busy boy.  He loves to chew on things all the time and now has 2 teeth! He continues to wake up with a big smile on his face and is a happy (squirmy) baby. He is starting to sit up a little (but still needs a little help), and he is rolling and scooting everywhere (crawling isn't too far away).  He is starting to get used to eating a little bit of baby food.  He absolutely loves playing with Drew and will give a smile even when he just hears Ted's voice on the phone.  He is one loved baby here at our house, and we know he is loved by so many other people!

5 months old!

5 months old!

Logan is 5 months old!  The summer has gone so fast.  We went to Bear Lake, Newport Beach (with a quick stop in St. George to see Kim and Rett), did some hiking, and enjoyed the outdoors! The cousins and family absolutely love him and he has been a great baby to travel with.   Logan is now a wiggly kid, always wanting to face out and see what it going on.  When he gets excited or upset he is constantly kicking or doing hip thrusts (funniest thing ever). He is also grabbing at everything now, so you have to watch out for your hair or something on the table nearby because he can be quick.  We tried some rice cereal one time and he absolutely hated it, so we will wait a few weeks and try it out again.  He had a Dr. appointment this past week and he weighed in at 16lbs (35%) and 27 inches (90%)- he is going to be a tall kid! Poor guy had his immunizations and was a sad baby for a couple days but now is back to his smiley happy self!  We love him!

4 months

 I can't believe that Logan is 4 months old.  The time is flying by and he is getting so big.  He is still rolling a lot, although he gets a little frustrated when he turns to his tummy while he is sleeping.  I think he is the happiest when Drew is playing with him, and will just smile and watch his every move.  He seriously couldn't be any cuter or lovable. Here is a glance at his monthly picture for the past 4 months.
